Blown away!

Greetje was at the door to welcome us when our taxi dropped us off. She showed us around, answered our questions and quickly responded by the AirB&B app to any further inquiries. We were blown away by the location where we could walk a few steps put on our snorkeling gear and drop into the water.

Absolutely perfect

This cottage was perfect for us. We wanted a quiet place where we could relax and swim. Not knowing much about the island we took our chances on this place based on the reviews. The longer we were there the more we realized how ideal it was. We could walk to several restaurants in the evening which was great, and the ones in town were a short drive. Grocery store right up the street also a short drive. We snorkled right from the house every day and it was one of the calmest places on the island (it was very windy during our visit) - and we saw a turtle twice! The patio right outside the door was perfect for relaxing and reading out of the sun and wind. It was so nice to chat with the lovely owners too. The rental isn't right on the water, but there is a short path that leads to the water where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. Very happy with our decision to book this place and would return!

Loved our Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Kasita di Mama and would definitely stay here again. The place was clean and well stocked with useful items like a cooler backpack, which we used every day. The AC works great when you want it and the lovely garden outside is a refreshing and peaceful place to sit and watch the hummingbirds (we saw both species on the first day!) The beach is just a few steps down a little pathway from the garden and the snorkeling offshore there is great. Its also such a treat to be able to dig your toes into the sand before you've finished your coffee. Parking was easy and the house is just a short drive from the airport, a gas station, and a grocery. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Awesomeness

Kasita Di Mama is an amazing and magical place to stay in Kralendijk. The owners, Roberto and Nerry, give you a very warm welcome. They are incredibly kind and make sure you immediately feel at home. We truly enjoyed their presence and our conversations about life, shared concerns, and their deep love for Bonaire. The property is beautiful, with a lovely and relaxing outdoor living area surrounded by many flowers, plants, and birds. From the property, it’s just a few steps with private access to the sea, where you can swim and snorkel, and from the patio you can enjoy the stunning sunset. You have your own parking spot, private entrance, and outdoor shower, which was perfect for rinsing off our surf gear and harness. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time at Kasita di Mama and will definately reserve it again the next time we visit Bonaire. The place was beautiful and well stocked with supplies above and beyond our expectations. It was quiet and peaceful and yet still within walking distance of the shops in Kralendijk . The place is surrounded by flowers making it even more lovely. It was geat having direct access to the ocean and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the patio area. This place exceeded our expectations in every way and I would highly recommend it .

Dive getaway

We were one of the first guests to stay at this place and it was perfect for our dive getaway. Great location to VIP Diving (dive shop) ocean a short walk away, walkable to downtown and other great restaurants nearby. Interior is basic but nice. Great little kitchen, great bathroom (love the fan!). Host was so response and willing to help out if we needed anything. The only thing we would recommend is maybe a few robust hooks somewhere to hang dive gear to dry towards the end of a stay. With VIP so close, they have lockers and rinse bins so just a suggestion. Loved the cooler for use, those iceblocks kept our drinks and snacks icy cold all day! Would book again!

snorkeled everyday and watched sunsets at night.

This is a separate casita on the property of the owners. It has been completely renovated so everything is fresh and new. The kitchen contained almost everything you would need for self catering, including an air fryer which we used quite a bit. All rooms are air conditioned if you choose, which made for comfortable sleeping at night. Wonderful private covered patio which we sat out on most when there. plenty of room to relax. The nicest feature was the access to the ocean at the front of the property. We snorkeled everyday there and watched sunsets at night. Location was great - we walked easily to the cruise terminal and downtown Kralendijk, as well as to grocery stores. We did rent a vehicle after a couple days to explore and had easy parking on site. Would absolutely recommend

Perfect

Kasita Di Mama is the perfect place to stay in Bonaire! My wife & I stayed there for a full week in March and focused on scuba diving, which you can do right out of the back door! The house has a stove, microwave, full size fridge freezer, modern bathroom , a/c units in every room, bath/ beach towels, and bed sheets, and also provides privacy on the beautiful porch area, an outdoor shower, and your own parking spot. Conveniently located in walking distance to downtown (but not too close) and we felt very safe staying there! The host are very friendly and shared stories about the island with us. We loved it! Hope to return one day soon!

I loved my time at Kasita di Mama! The owners Roberto and Nerry were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, with lots of plants, flowering vines, and a very comfortable outdoor living area. The outdoor shower was a wonderful surprise as well. It’s in an amazing location with access to the beach, and while town is just a quick 10 minute walk away – you’re far enough away that you don’t get the noise, it’s a very quiet and peaceful place. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

My wife and I celebrated or 25th wedding anniversary by going to Bonaire. This house was incredible with a perfect location to dive shops, grocery stores and walking distance to downtown. If you want privacy a big porch and everything you could need in a house this is the place. I was able to make breakfast every morning and then we loaded up our tanks from Carib Inn dive shop that was 200' away and hit the road exploring. The parking was perfect and all the beautiful flowers that surrounded the place were tropical. Narry and her husband made you feel like you were family. It was awesome to hear their stories of growing up on Bonaire. If you wanted to dive or watch the sunset it was in your own backyard just a few steps behind the house with private access to the water. This was truly an unforgettable vacation and we look forward to staying in their place next year if not sooner! Greetje's communication was perfect as well checking in on your needs and questions.
